I had them under me today and they would not take a jig.. A jig tipped with a minnow or even a dang minnow on a hook! I think im gonna park the boat for a while and save the money.

we thunk it was gunna be....... rolled up very late ...... installed the new $199 graph that piscatur got..... i think it was $199 on sale with an additional 10% off ! very nice unit ....561 DI dual beam hummingbird...... worked well .....took us maybe an hour or so to install time was tickin .....

so we FINALLY get to the water ...... we had to do the academy stop ..... we had to do the burger spot ..... we had to get gas ..... on and on ..... it was a long day ...... we launch ,,,,roll up on a nice brush pile ..... 200 yards from the ramp ..... looks pretty good markin a few fish ..... i put a purple something or other down .... BINGO fish on !

i have to tell ya i love hookin up right off ..... .....THAT WAS IT ..... 3 hours later and 5 or 6 places and we .... FINALLY get our second fish ..... piscatur hooks up ..... almost FISH ON ......LOL warmouth....

we pulled up on bunches of brush piles .....
we wasnt markin fish on none of em .....
we sometimes marked a few fish suspended off the piles .....
we watched the other crappie guys doin just like us ....
brush pile to brush pile .....all of em movin
and movin and movin .....
pretty obvious it was gunna be a super slow day .....)=

so we move more ......
we decided to try some bridge action .....
pretty much same thing ,,,,,
we work down the bridge .....
....we get in 13 foot of water ....
bingo right up against the bridge ....
right off the bottom ....
a nice fat 11 inch fish .....
we ketch one more 11 inch in the same area suspended ....
not anywhere near any structure !
and we hook up a itty bitty somethin the same way ....
i dont know what it was ,,,,it got off .....
