Wooly buggers & Clousers are my two favorites subsurface.... for me frog patterns on top are my favorites of all...

Like tmds3 said, poppers are great. When they aren't hitting up top though, I like brown, white, or olive wooly buggers, and clousers(chartreuse and white or white on white).
