Always give help on the water! You never know when it could be you. A few years ago I pulled in a guy and his son and the very next day was my turn. Definitely keep this going

Had an incident on Richland Chambers, a guy and his 7 month pregnant wife were fishing and the wind got up some terrible. He was in a Skeeter ( not bashing the boat) I was im my Champion. She and my wife were talking and she was dreading the ride back. I offered to take her back and promised him we would take good care of her. I told him my boat had a pretty good ride and he let me take her to the ramp and now we are good friends. He also went out and bought a 20 foot Champion at the request of his wife. He got the chance to haul me in when my lower unit went out. Called him and he came and got me. I've pulled and been pulled in several times.

When you are on the water and someone needs help, you have to help because you never know when the situation will be reversed!!

Amen to that! Totally agreed. I'm always eager to help. I towed a family on jet ski last summer at Lake Lewisville. Poor 5yr old and his mom were scared because their jet ski was dead. The father was trying to swim it back to the ramp with it. Took the the wife and son in our boat while we towed the jet ski and the dad along. They were greatful and offered money. I didn't accept the money and I told them we were glad to help. That was a good feeling to be able to help someone in distress. Good deed pass it on..

Offering money just means they are really grateful. I don't know about karma, but nice people that help others usually just want to help. Thank God for those people.

Wish i could say the same. I towed some people in caney a while back that had dead batteries. A month or so later blew my lower runnin from san aug past the island. There wwas a guy in a triton fishing the point on the 3rd cove down from powell and i know he heard it pop and seen us stop and look at it. Then he waited till we were halfway between him and powell and ran like a half mile circle around us to get into powell. Boy was i hot! I seen his boat in a slip but never saw him. Luckily some good people in a pontoon gave me a lift to my truck and wouldnt take any gas money. But boy was i wanting to find the guy in that triton. God bless the good people!
