Love chatterbait fishing slowing rolling on the rocks, through a stump flat . Look for a good rod that type of fishing Any thoughts ? I know there will be alot of sales the next couple of days.

I throw one quite a bit. . . I have had a lot of luck with St Croix's Legend Tournament 7ft MH "sweeper spinnerbait"
Lately i have been using 13 rods and their 7ft MH Omen for 100$ would be ideal as well

7ft heavy rod with moderate tip. I use MHX blend rod blank with micro guides and 30lb braid.

Anything you'd throw a spinnerbait on would work well. I prefer shorter than 7 foot to make target casting easier.

I like a medium-heavy, fast, 7ft+ rod.

Also, like Rxkid2001 said, if you're casting into tight spaces or you're target casting, I'd use 6'6-6'9 rod, but with the same actions as I said previously. Hope this helps.

I use a 7 foot heavy because I use a chatterbait around cover and want the power to get them out of the grass or whatever

I really like the the Falcon Lowrider (LFC-5-168 Angler of the Year) for chatterbait and spinnerbait. You could also go up to the Cara (CC-5-168 Angler of the Year) version too.

Same here 6'-6" Falcon Lowrider MH and I have a Quantum Energy PT 6"-6" MH that works great too. The PT is a bit stiffer and works great in the grass.

I throw a vibrating jig A LOT on tour, shallow and deep. Most of the time I am throwing a 1/2 oz Bobby D's Grinder on 15lb Seaguar Abrazx with a Dobyns Champ 734. The only time I will vary this set up is when I am fishing heavier cover and I opt for 20lb Abrazx. I still use the Dobyns 734 no matter what. This is the workhorse rod in the Dobyns line up as it is one of the most versatile rods. It has enough backbone to manhandle quality fish as well as to swing them into the boat yet enough tip to be able to rollcast and not overwork the bait or angler.
