A month ago or so I saw some reports of people having problems launching at South Shore Ramp. Anybody have any recent updates on the conditions at South Shore?

Thanks!

Ramp is still good. I live in Three Rivers and am on the lake at least 2-3 days a week. I just trim up when loading on the trailer. The reason I do this is because we believe a piece of the ramp broke off out toward the end. But as of now everything is still good there, I used the ramp yesterday.

Fishing has been slowly getting better but your still having to work for em. Im still hitting lots of offshore structure which has been key for me all year at choke. Plastics tx rigged and deep cranks have been my go to lures as well. Havent had a decent c-rig bite in a few months.

The ramp's fine, but the fishing....... Well, it can go anyway you want it to go, or just the opposite.

Yeah I've been inconsistent all year on this lake have my good days and bad my biggest there this year was a 7.7 two sevens are my to biggest as last year caught a 9.4, a couple of 8s and sevens last year won a tourney with a 29 pound stringer this year I'm struggling to weigh in 12 pounds I like opossum when the lake is more full . Can anyone clue me where to start Wednesday don't have to give me specific location just a general area and depth to try. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

As of late, if it were me, I'd go to 4 fingers or go to 3 fingers, and then start from there. Good luck there Wednesday, Riverdogbone.

Update!!! Hey Ryano south shore boat ramp strikes again, the middle of the ramp when your backing boat off trailer definately has something solid!! Make sure anybody using this ramp needs to tilt motor and go slow!!! To bad the state won't fix this or at least look into the issue.

I launched there last Wednesday didn't hit anything but I didn't go down the middle of the ramp either its a two lane ramp I would always recommend picking a side but water is low on the ramp and wouldn't surprise me if there were some debris at the end . I said I would post pics but there wasn't anything worth photographing. Caught eleven dinks . I did catch a about a two pound crappie on a dd crankbait my partner did catch a 10 pounder oh wait it was a gasper gu doh!
