I prefer to river fish waving a flimsy stick in the air with feathers and such. I've read basics on stripers and whites on the fly- but I'm want to to get forum feedback- not a google search. Who chases these guys on the fly? Where? What's the best patterns and time of year? Been working on catching any and everything on a fly and these two are on the hit list. Looking forward to your responses. Thanks in advance- of course I'll share the pics! And above all, Tight Lines!

All I can say is look for the birds right now, and burn that feathery thing back to the boat.

Cooper is a great place to LongRod Hybrids. The lake has lots of 10' -15' humps and the fish will hold on 2' often!
Flys are easy! Clouser's white and chartreuse! In the spring and summer take a popR or slider that looks like a shad! I never use sink tips!
