Well, I'd really love to post some pictures of some cats, but it stunk too bad in my boat yesterday of skunk.

3rd time I have been out to Grapevine without any luck. Guess I am going to have to hire somebody to take me out onmy boat and show me how to catch these silly things on the vine.

So far, my pleaded case of buying a boat has not gone over to well with Mrs. Reeder!!

blame the weather. wind hasn't been good for the last week or so. looks like next friday will be your best bet. And you don't have to hire someone. there's plenty of guys on here that would help ya out if you just say you got a backseat open.

You are trying to learn on a very challenging lake. There are big fish in there. Grapevine is the kind of lake that will make you a hero or a zero. Usually doesn't hold the same pattern as other lakes. I pulled a 28 lb last year and have not tried since the spring time. I have never slayed them out there but I see Damfisherman's post and he is killing big fish. (I think he is part gills and whiskers) LOL. Seriously!

Thank ya sir.

Got a few tips and offers from some Grapevine savvy people.

Hopefully one day I'll be able to answer and give some advice.
