I joined this forum to find places to fish from the bank for BASS, and there is everything else on here except what I'm looking for. Then when you do come across some one actually disclosing any locations it seemed to be in some sort of code. A highway w/ no town, a road w/no name. And to someone like me who's not familiar with Texas it's very confusing. So I my question is
I need to find a few locations that I can fish from the shore targeting bass and or catfish. But bass primarily.

welcome

It would help to know where youre living and how far youre willing to drive.

Most folks that talk "in-code" here is because they have lots of friends & fishing partners here. They've all been there and done that so theres no need for them to provide all the details.

You can click on my sig to find places, Texas Google Bank Fishing Google.

If you have places also, please share them.

A lot of the Harris county parks have lakes/ponds and most are stocked. I dont really get to go much and normally am taking my 11yr old so I just hit up one of the parks.

Burroughs, pundt, bane all have decent fishing.

Most people are helpful but the issue is that most suburban ponds are over fished and a lot of people keep whatever they catch, even if there are regulations. So hope you understand that we are not trying to keep a honey hole to ourselves, but are trying to preserve whatever we have left.

PM me if your still looking for some spots.

Its not about how many fish you catch or how big they are, its about the memories you make catching those fish.

As always, tight lines!
