Went to La Mancha on Leon this past Saturday to try my luck, started abit slow then switched to a Mr. Crappie Glimmer Blue Joker and it worked well until I lost it in the brush. Still alittle slow but it should start picking up real soon. Hope to be there again this Saturday morning.

How deep are you fishing? Do you know much about fishing the main lake? I'm looking for a place to do some winter fishing since most of my winter spots are dried up.

Sorry but I did not check to see what depth, My setup is a small egg sinker about 10" below the jig. Then I pull line off the reel until the sinker hits the brush, and it also depends on what slip you fish as to the depth of the brush below. No I have not fished the main lake at all. I am still a rookie to Lake Leon.

Yes it is off the point of CR 567. Just stay straight and look for for a dirt parking lot on the left at the turn around. Depends what time I get there but look for a silver dodge pick up with a Slab Bandit sticker on the back glass. If yo see this truck you have found it, I plan on getting there around 6:30.
