OP JBellZX250 Extreme Angler Joined: May 2011 Posts: 1,339 Grapevine, TX	Made it out on the vine today about 2pm and thought the weather was perfect. Figured I would have my usual dink fest. Have been fishing the vine hard for the last 2 years with lots of skunks and tons of dinks, today tho I was very humbled!!! Pulled up to a spot and tied on a bait I have faith in and started casting. All the sudden it feels like I'm hung up on some bank beaters broken off line. Just about when I was about to aim the boat to go to my bait she jumps out of the water. I about crapped myself as I haven't caught a fish this big and much less on the vine!! She jumped another two times and pulled drag at the boat twice. Talk about a fight and a rush! I was just begging for my line not to snap! Enough of the story tho here she is a 8.44lb Gvine beauty! Ended my 3 hours of fishing with 7 fish. This 8.44, a 3.65 and 5 dinks.
