I have not been on Hubbard in over a month and decided to get the Rho Boat out today. Left the marina at 6.30 and headed south. Wind was about 20 mph and gusting but the outside temp was great. Went looking for fish shallow and it did not take long to find them. All of my fish today were in 2ft to 6ft of water. Moe's 4 inch banana sassy shads were the trick with some fish coming in on the RH McQueens as well, both in chartreuse color.

I ended the day with 16 Hybrids and had 2 break off at the boat, and a bunch of sandies. I got up this morning and started to not go but as everyone knows I only get 1 day off every 2 weeks and today was that day, boy I am glad I went. I am trying to get the pics posted as I type. .. Thanks Todd.

Oh, I put my PB in the boat this morning 8lbs 12 oz on my scale. All fish were released so we can catch them again!!!

Way to go Gene! Some yard work over ruled my fishing plans. Nice to see it was worth the trip. Congrats on the PB! The hybrids and big sandies have been great this Fall. I only got them deep once. Best has been shallow like you mentioned. Any other people venture out there? I know your boat is safe. It's some other people I get worried about. Couple weeks ago saw a tiny boat out in the wind with three guys on it. Guardian Angels had to be around them!
