No! You're not the only one thinking about this up coming season! The schedule is posted. Rainbow Trout Stocking Schedule Post up your tips and share your experiences. I may hit Mesquite as it is one of the early spots. Tough place though due to low stocking numbers, only catch them on a black Panther Martins there. Dark water, need vibrations, Super Dupers never produced for me there. Elsewhere, gold and silver Super Dupers are my "cheat code" within one week of stocking. Powerbait does well also. Good Luck! Another vote for Super Dupers. Canyon tailrace is always fun...if not packed. Brackenridge Park in SA is like shooting fish in a barrel. Had a limit in half an hour last year.

inline spinners - -- sometimes even spiked up with that power bait between treble hooks.
works wonders.

Where do yall buy the power bait at? I used some a guy gave to me two winters ago and it was the only thing that worked.

Anyone know of any particular flavor or color of power bait hey like best ? I had one guy swear last year the bite was best with the the Red Glitter ?

Waste of a couple of million bucks or more. Let the kids fish for perch and cat fish like I did when I was a kid. Go to the rivers in Ok,Ark, N.M.or Colorado if you want to trout fish.

Bread worked wonders for me last year. Though I didn't like the taste of trout so this year is gonna be all catch and release.
