Take a GPS unit with you, as it's easy to get confused and lost on that lake.

Not fun, especially at night when you're low on fuel!

Do you need a TX and LA license to fish Caddo or does just a TX license work?

Years ago the 1st time I went to Caddo after I married I called the wife and told her that I had arrived and things were going great, later that month the phone bill shows up with Uncertain Tx on the bill and my wife wanted to know where I was fishing cause the phone company was Uncertain about wy where abouts. Still one of my favorite lakes in TX.

When the need arises--and it does--you must be able to shoot your own dog.Don't farm it out--that doesn't make it nicer.it makes it worse.

There is plenty to do for the ladies. Jefferson is not far away. I've seen several bird watchers walking down the streets of Uncertain. It really will take you back into time. Riverboat tours, crappie fishing at Johnson Ranch ect.
