I know Tony from White Oak Shores, he maintains our sewer treatment plant at our park. I can say without any reserves that he works above and beyond his duties. He is as easy a person to be around as there is. Always nice and ready to talk fishing with anyone. I'm in North Carolina right now but upon my return to Texas I will search him out and commit my help to him and his family, obviously he was raised right. I should be back in town around the middle of November. I used the Minnow Bucket in the old days and never had a complaint about anything there. It would be great to see it running again. If you see this Tony I will be calling you.

Hey Marc. First.. not taking it the wrong way at all. So many people told us that things weren't the same when we sold. When Mom & Dad ran the place, our customers were more than just customers. Y'all were family. We also understood that we wouldn't have a business without y'all, and our family was truly dedicated to each of y'all.

It finally reached a point - after we sold - where I couldn't even walk in the place. It was too much to see what it was becoming, and when Chris & Tony were term'ed I had no desire whatsoever to go in there.

You can rest assured that over the next few days and weeks you will see each of us (from our parents whom are in their late 60's/early 70's) to my own kids (whom are only 6 and 13) doing our part to start the repairs & to (as Fouzman said) "kick the bucket back to life".

All that being said, I appreciate your sentiment and respect to my brothers (and my entire family). As I said, we always thought of our guides and customers as family & we hope to see you very VERY soon smile

Good to hear about the re-opening. I've only stayed at the bucket. Good times and memories.

Good luck to Ken and family, I am sure they had their reasons for leaving. The place has not changed in 10 years, dont understand why all the negative comments. It has always been a great place to stay. The economy has hurt many small business around the lake. I hope things get better soon.

When they reopen, what will be their phone number? With the management change I will want to confirm my room reservations for next year during Dodge Mega Bass and McDonalds.

It will be nice to go to the MB and and have coffe in the morning and cold beer in the evening. Tony and Chris belong at this place. Nice gesture Fouz. I would love to help but am still busy working the last hurricane in New York. Chris and Tony know if they need anything they can always call me. The entire family has always taken care of me since I stared fishing Fork in 93. Glad to see them back.
