 Has anyone ever fished the river in Seguin?

My brother and I are thinking about fishing the river but never been there before. So my question is....have you fished it before? If so can I use my 10' pond jumper boat, is there a nice place to launch it, what do you catch bass on, how big are the fish there, so I try somewhere else? Any other information you wana share would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

go under i 10 there is a ramp there, the area is called lake placid
Hope for the best,but prepare for the worst
