Hey guys,
I wanted to introduce everyone to the Spazz. This is our interpretation of the tailspinner. The Spazz is made just like all of our baits, right here in America. They run straight as an arrow and have a tough as nails finish.

Brandon,
It is one solid bait. I don't skimp on quality in the name of cheapness.....Powder paint? Not here! These baits are made like all ours with liquid paint. Clear coat finish? Not here...we use something MUCH tougher. these baits are made like are slabs...Tough as nails. People have a choice, buy cheap inferior baits and have the paint and finish flake off, or buy a quality American made bait with amazing attention to the end product and pay a few cents more. Thanks again for your support.

Bet a dollar I know that paint . Sweet lure but where did you find somebody crazy enough to to paint with that stuff . I have jigs in my old Tackle box that has the hooks rusted off . The heads were painted with vinyl . The heads look as good as the day I bought them . Stinnger Jigs out of Oklahoma If I remember right . Disappeared late 90's guess he quit.

I hear what you are saying. I spent a lot of money on my boat, electronics, rods/reels, gas (boat/truck) and other expenses to enjoy fishing so I don't mind paying more for quality and good service. Either at the box stores or you local providers, I want a quality product that is ready to go and will work right out of the box and will last. Keep up the good work.

Michael,
They are great little baits. And, you're right those sandies can be tough little boogers.

do these Humdingers and other knock off type lures fall faster than the tail spinners which utilize a traditional Colorado Blade??

Decades ago I put three types of blade on the little George sort of the father of the spazz . A prop blade , June bug blade , and an inline blade .The fall on all those blades are relatively the same . Even the Colorado blade .Prop June and Inline never stop spinning so there fall is mili seconds slower than a blade that does not pick up the force of the water . A prop blade on retrieval pulls so hard it feels like you already have a fish . June bug blades spin like crazy and due to the angle that the blade rides the shaft it has a tiny bit more surface flash but does not create the turbulance the inline will in the water . Color spectrum and presentation are the main factors chances are if those two things are right your gonna get fish . If I came to Texas to fish , the Spazz or in my case Little George(since I still have 1/2 dozen bodies left)would be what I chased sandies with first . Now about the paint I personally Prefer vinyl on my stuff . It is tough rugged and lasts forever . The same goes for applying the paint to a lure .It's an art unto itself but well worth it in the long run .It will also let more of the detail of a lure show through in case you want to apply extra touches to those details for the sake of art .If any one uses vinyl paint it is for the love of the crafted lure they want to be around for a while . It takes skill and a special attention to detail.
Rooster Tackle I know a few tricks on that paint so if you or anyone needs a few pointers I'd be glad to put in my 2 cents .

we used to increase the size of the colorado blade on our spinner baits for bass in certain circumstances. like for dropping off a ledge of moss..... wanted it to helicopter down real slow.

i was looking to expand my tackle box with varying flutter for different circumstances. like use a fast drop for deep water and a slow drop for shallow.

looks like the inline would fall faster to me.... interesting.
