What's the best reel to spool up some piano wire with?

At $160 a pop, I think that's about the only thing I'd tie to it.

just got mine - there is no blue on it. Dark grey to black - yes.

Will give it a try at Fork in a week or less. But if I was a bass, I'd eat it hooked

He's gonna make some more of them. I think he said he's gonna tune up the paint a little too. I'm waiting to get one of his shads, but I tried to get one of these when they came up. It's like a drug, trying to get a 3:16 release.

like the man says...if you're swimming in the ocean and get bitten by a shark, its not a shark attack. You're in THEIR neighborhood. If you're at home in your shower, turn around and a shark is in there with you...THAT'S a shark attack

I think I'll go with my Matt Lures instead smile

Just got this one in - make that two (Matt sent me an extra no charge!). $59.00 shipped from Mattlures.com. Way better deal in my opinion. I'm not going to overpay for a lure based on availability. That is just my opinion. 3:16 does make some great looking baits, but I can't make myself spend $200+ on them.

To Ivie!

I thought you were in swimbait rehab.....
remember you could have bought 18 - 3/4 spinnerbaits or chatterbaits that will out produce that hunk of plastic.

Mattlures makes a good looking bait, no denying that. If it only swam half as realistic as a 316 freestyle does then I'd fish them. I've fished a mattlures bass but as soon as I got my freestyle bass I gave away the matts.

Now I do prefer matts hardgill over the 316 bluegill, but that's just me.

Completely different baits.. One is a 3 joint and one is a 4.. Also the joints are much more restrictive on the mattlures..THe 316 swims so much better..

Nope. You can get TWO for $60. Just talk to Matt. He is having a sale soon, so he added one to my order. I only ordered one @ $60 and he sent TWO. GREAT customer service.
