Been to falcon 6 years in a row, so Iam asking if not falcon were should I go? Worried it wont fish as good as it has in the past so iam looking for other locations to try, dont wont to go into mexico but any were else is fair game. Were is the next falcon? Thanks

If it were me, I'd still go to Falcon. Even when it's fishing tough, it can still out-fish other lakes, but that's just my opinion. However, if you really, honestly don't wanna go to Falcon, I'd go to Fork or Amistad.

Look at Ivie once it settles down and clears up a little.Have a club tourny there Nov. 17- 18,with our luck it will be snowing.

Depends on what direction you want to head. If you want to continue exploring Texas, go to Amistad. Fishing is generally decent there and it's much prettier than Falcon ever has been. Del Rio is an interesting City. Otherwise someone already mentioned it but okeechobee frm what I've heard is on an upswing and should be good.

My pb is from Okeechobee but it or Kissimmee can't hold a candle to Falcon.

I know you don't want to go but if you run out of options this is what we are doing at the time you guys like to go. We are looking for teams to follow us down to Lake Oviachic, Mexico.
We are headed down the West Coast to Lake Oviachic on Feb. 22.
The dates and schedule.
Feb. 22 for 10 days.
Feb. 22 leave for Nogalas, Az. and spend the night at Motel 8.
Will be picking up those that are flying in at Tuson airport.
Feb. 23 crossing border and will be fishing by 3:00 PM..
Feb. 24 - Mar. 1 is 3 days before full moon and 3 days after.
Mar. 2 on Saturday leaving the lake to return and will drive until bedtime.
Mar. 3 on Sunday returning to DFW.

There is no place in our hemisphere currently that can produce like either Fork or Falcon on a consistent basis. Even during this drought, you'd be better off going to either of those, first. Or Amistad. Or Mexico with Mr. Harper.

Beyond that, you're looking at private if you want to stay in the US.
