heading to caddo for the first time over thanksgiving weekend. staying at the pine needle lodge. Any info on that area or the lake in general would be much appreciated. Thanks

Awesome lake. Bring your black and blue plastics. Flip to the base of the Cypress stumps. Keep a sharp eye out for gators. Saw my first one in the wild out there, awesome!

Toss frog patterns on the back side of open pockets of Lilly pads. Wait a bit then bounce it into the open water.
I've also had good luck with spinnerbaits in all white or fire tiger.
