 Crappie while bass fishing

 I don't fish for crappie, but Sunday i found a tree that was full of them. They kept hitting my Fat Free Shad. This one was the biggest I had ever caught. I got about 4 off that same tree in about 5 casts so decided to move on after this one. I threw them all back.

Lake Waco over by the dam (Lake Shore Cove corner) 12ft. Let me know when you get them all out of there and the bass come back.

now wasnt if much more fun to catch 4 fish in 5 casts, rather than 1 bass in 150 casts???

Wow. Somebody sounds kinda pompous don't they? I don't care what kind of fish it is if I can catch 4 on 5 casts I'm staying all day!

Last spring I pulled up to my fav docks and caught 4 blacks the first 4 shots...missed the next and then got a fifth on sixth cast...none were big, maybe 10-12" but, never did than way back when I was targeting blacks!
Now I wonder why I didn't use jigs more for blacks? And smaller ones at that.
