Taking one of my staff to Twak tomorrow. Is there a decent place to park the boat and eat in Wills Point or maybe East Twak. We are putting in at the state park. I'd post this in travel or food but figured it would get seen faster here.

Right by the railroad tracks, two great burger places, can't remember the names but both good.

Plenty of parking both times I was there, next to the railroad tracks, you will see once you pull up in front of the burger joint.

As you approach the tracks you will see parking spaces, pull past those and park next to the tracks.

As a native Wills Pointer, 4th Generation, my advice would be to drive to Canton, Tyler, maybe even Dallas OK, all kidding aside... Here's a list (ranked on purpose) of places that are pretty good and probably won't get you sick after a meal there:

#1 Bluebird Cafe. On the old storefronts facing the railroad tracks about even with the train Caboose Museum. North side of 80 between the old Majestic theater and Charlies Burgers. Only open for breakfast and lunch. Burgers, CFS, Catfish....you wont get a bad meal there. Best place in Town.

#2 La Pradera. TexMex on 80 far West side of town right next to High School. Decent Mexican food and prices.

#3 Cowboys BBQ. 47North downtown next to Post Office. Great ribs, burgers, CFS.... Better get there before 1pm or they are out of everything and they don't care. BBQ Nazi's But it is good

#4 Charlies. Couple doors down from #1. Pretty good burgers, you dress them yourself on a salad bar. If you like chili CB, try the Ghetto Burger, then go lay down

#5 is a Tie between DQ and Sonic. DQ is better, but they hire the dumbest people in town to work the drive through - your order will be wrong no matter what.....

#6 Paco Domingez. Super cheap more authentic Mexican. On 80 right in front of the Caboose. Don't blink or you will miss it. Tiny storefront. Good chips and BLAZING HOT SALSA! Take a Zantac before you eat.

If you go to Lone Star, Chinese, or pizza you may as well just eat a warm bologna sammich in the restrooms at Holiday marina. It'll be cleaner and smell better there
