Can we leave the speed topics to the bullets, gamblers, Allison's, etc? Don't forget the Strokers, oh and I gotta buddy who has a 20i with a 250 SHO that will run 74 with a tourney load and 2 anglers and the ride is pretty decent

Can we leave the speed topics to the bullets, gamblers, Allison's, etc? Now you're talking. I do remember in the early days the fastest boat I ever saw on the pro bass tour was Harold Allen in a Skeeter. Don't know what he did to that boat and motor, but he swore it was stock.

Only 1 time has speed mattered in alll the tourneys I have fished. Ill take the stability and better ride. Go 21I. Period

To the OP, you should create a profile on Bass Boat Central. Every major boat brand has their own pages. You can swap info on setups, props, etc.

By third grade math, with a 1/4 tank, you should be runnin' close to 80 mph. Like the horse trader told me..."You can't ride this horse all day....you'll be there by noon!"

It's funny that this same exact question is asked on other fishing forums and guys turn it into a discussion about boat setups and actual positive feedback and "things to try" You people amaze me at how controversial and negative you are. If you don't like the question don't comment. If you have a skeeter and care to share how fast it is under different conditions, comment, add it to your watched topics and move on. Skeet4life, I have a zx250 and run it at around 68 never really pushed the limits for fear of blowing it up stock Yamaha prop and full tourney load, fuel, gear and 2 boys, one of which isn't all that big. The 21 footer rides great, and I feel I don't waste to much time driving around. Hopefully we get a few more legitimate responses because I've been wondering myself how mine stacks up to other zx250's, not in a drag race context just overall speed, time to plane etc. Good luck

I've got a 2012 zx 200 with 200 sho. The best I have seen is 68 @ 5600 rpm. I really need to take it to Steve's custom props to see if it could do better but 68 ain't bad.

09 ZX 200 200HP Series 2 stock 25 T1 fully loaded gps 66 full load 1/2 tank or less 68MPH fastest was gps 70mph just about empty.

I must be doing something wrong cause I have never gotten over 66 on my 03 zx 225 o66 with a 25 t1.
