My Dad and I are headed to Toledo Bend this weekend. It's been a couple years since we've fished down there, so we are looking forward to an awesome weekend.
We are putting in at Fin-n-Feather and want to fish pretty close by (within 5 miles or so). Any advice on patterns, lures, colors, etc. is appreciated (PM is fine as well).
Thanks, Uncle Fish

We are looking forward to the early morning top water bite, but worried about finding fish once the sun gets high. That's where input is needed

Friday, 11-2, from 430pm-7pm, caught 40ish fish on jigging spoon. Just look for baitfish on you graph on main lake deep structure, and drop the spoon down, pop it every 6-7 seconds and hold on. A few times the fish wouldnt even let it hit bottom, they would take it on the initial fall.
If you are dead set on staying in housen, there is plenty of catchable fish in the grass. From the bank out to 13-16ft, which is the outside grass line.
