My son and I are heading to Lavon for crappies. We are coming from Carrollton so we need a good ramp and minnows Saturday morning. How about the Lavon guys throwing out some help.

Before you turn left to get to east fork ramp , go straight about a 1/4 mile and it is on the right side. Across from Wylie police station. Hope this help. By the way they open at 6 am.

Mallard was still open as of last Sunday. Use caution, there was a lot of wood sticking up.

Went to mallard yesterday, man that run I was using to the bridge, not so clean. The ramp was still usable, but it won't be long with no rain.
