It's been a month or so since I've been able to return. I'm taking a new comer to the Lake and would appreciate some current reports. Things change in a month. Last month I was slaying the early top water bite in the shallows. Is that still there? Should I just look for birds? I'll be launching at Highport. Thanks to all who share the latest intel

From highport the biggest decision you'll have to make is to go left or right????

went yesterday morning, and didnt do great. Too many birds...LOL. its like trying to pick on dove out of a flock of 50.

I fished Eisenhower for hour without a nibble. Threw 4 Inch sassies an a variety of shad raps. Any advice would be awesome, we are planning on staying til dark. Do we need to be on the Hightower side of lake? We haven't even seen a single bird

Just go farther north from Eisenhower towards table top or the flats by washita point.
