camped out at state park for a really good three days. weather was perfect. fish were hungry. hadn't been to lake before but was able to figure some things out. Grandkids caught fish, canoed, learned some cooking and fire building skills. great time with family. water temps ranged 71 to 78.bigger fish were 4-8 ft. deep on wood, while smaller 1-1/12 lbrs were feeding shallow to very shallow around what grass I found or boat dock. caught most fish on cranks. fyi. at night, down along shoreline,a bright lite exposed hundreds of young bream, so match the hatch.
thanks to all tffr's who responded
