Is there anyone out there that knows about Coleto Creek Lake, west of Victoria? Any special places to fish or what baits seem to be working? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There was a lot of grass and lilies on the northeast side that I always liked fishing. If you can still find grass next to the creek channels or standing timber, I would start there. Thats a power plant lake, so the bass maybe spawning now so keep that in mind. Also, beware of the crock-a-gators up there.

badgerfish I have not been there in a while and I hear that the lake is down some. FYI this lake can be dangerous at full pool as it if a narrow river type lake full of stumps!!!!! Make sure you know where you're at before you go WFO. I was reading back a month or so and there were bent props and damaged lower units so be careful. Good luck fishing, I heard the fishing is good, think shallow, real shallow....
