just finished watching the flw on the detroit river and noticed nixon was in a stratos and not a ranger. anybody know why? and is he the only person running a non ranger?

There are many brands of boats used in professional fishing. You will see Ranger, Stratos, Triton, Phoenix, Skeeter, BassCat, and I have even seen a Bullet out there. I'm sure I have left out others too.

this ..... Larry Nixon has been in a Stratos for years. if I am not mistaken he's the only previous Stratos sponsored pro that retained his sponsorship w/Stratos when the Genmar/Platinum Equity deal went down involving Ranger, Stratos, Champion, and Triton. I'm sure you know Stratos, Ranger, Triton, and the now defunct Champion are all under the same group.

What's even more ironic is the boat says Stratos but it's a Champ. So he's with the same company name but not running the hull he's used to.
