Went out to Dickinson bayou after work yesterday, caught two reds 22 in 24in and lost two. also caught three specks 16-17in, all caught with rat-l-traps various colors. I would post pics can't seem to figure it out on my phone.

Were you in a boat, kayak?? Also, how far down the bayou is best to fish? I have never fished there but would like to learn more about it....

We were in a boat, yes it was the hwy 3 bridge. The colder it gets the farther the reds will move into it, we were about half way in between hwy 3 and 45 still hookin up with reds and trout. Throw near structure and docks.
