How long do you let your cut bait set until you re bait while bank fishing. I let it set for about 3 too four hours is that to long??

45 minutes- 1 hr or so- depends on how much bait u got.....and how lazy u are.......

If there's a lot of turtles, I'll check every 20 minutes or so.
Some of them dudes can steal your bait without jiggling a rod tip.
