Today I went to the ol brook. The temps were still a bit brisk at midmorning. A stiff North wind let you know things changed since the last visit about 12 days ago. The water was slightly stained and 67-68 degrees, fish were lethargic not moving to strike any thing so Dead-Sticking was the ticket. I got a few 2,lbs. and maybe one a little over. I was trying to use the kitchen scale without being noticed, here is a few pics,I got rah out the kitchen but here is a comparison these three have a powder paint jar in the mouth

A couple more

A good rep of both species these are only 12 inchers they look slim compared to their 14 other compadres.

Very nice Pat! Those are some Hogs. That Garage looks way to organized. I wouldn't know haw to act in a Garage that neat.

I caught two 15 inch Black Crappie on Lewisville today. The wind wouldn't let me fish the pile I wanted to. There were more there.

Thanks fellows,I spend too much time in the garage to be honest. Yesterday on the trip I noticed on my graph I kept seeing what looked liked clouds, I was thinking my Transducer is probably going out or something ,I looked at the back graph and the same thhing. I was wondering if these were big shad balls, I remember I had a castnet along. I threw it out. Confirmed massive balls of Threadfin.

Fish are scatterd from 12-22 ft and not bunched up. A slow drift /troll has been the key here and also on Arlington Lake,Lewisville and Ray Roberts.
