Around 1:50 I saw a boat pushin or pullin the dock across the middle of the lake south of 30. I took a picture with my phone but don't know how to post it

They were being moved from the old Dalrock Marina to Bayview, they did not "break free".
I heard Dalrock lost their lease with the city and they are moving all those old rickety docks they had there to Bayview, since the same guys owns both...

Dalrock is still owned by the City of Dallas, where the Police and Fire Dept keep their boats and such....Where did they take the docks? Never saw em make it around the point to get to Bayview....Would have loved to see em trying to get those through/under 30.....

Jim, owns Lakeside fishing pier, Bayview and Harbor Bay. I think Doug is saying they came from Lakeside. Trust me Jim is way too frugal to let anything go to waste. He will figure a way to get those under the bridge!!

At around 2:30pm yesterday we saw the massive floating dock at the south tip of Roberson Park. And then about 3:30, two "tug" boats and one "pulling" boat were slowly moving it to Bayview marina and got to the mouth of Bayview, the marina at RP. Yeah, how they managed to get that huge dock under or over 30???

They said the lake side site is going to become a camp ground. That's correct. I heard a few weeks ago from the manager at Harbor Bay that they lost their lease at Dalrock. We are getting a 2nd fishing barge at Harbor Bay. They will move everything they can! I should have put two and two together when I first read this post....

i watched them move one of the docks on saturday under the 30 bridge. it barely fit under. maybe had 2-3 inch clearance. took 3 boats to move it. it was amusing to watch
help people when you can. pass on knowledge. Always pay it forward!!!
