Old news. Old price. I like your positive input. They fit fine in my boat and the price(which is @ 3-4K depending on ah) makes them cost effective if you use your boat like I and several others do. I am not trying to convince you but add facts for the OP.

Do you have to get a special charger?

No special charger for mine. I got mine from Smartbattery.com and I love them! They are much! lighter, charge faster and never wear down or even get weak. I did it simply for the speed factor. The way I saw I added a mod to my boat, gained about 3mph and didnt void the warranty on my motor.

I'm still confused. To replace all 4 batteries a guy would have to shell out roughly 15-16k correct? Or is it 4k for the whole setup?

Are we talking about replacing the 80-250 dollar batteries in the back of my boat with 3-4k dollar batteries?! And I thought going from Berkley big game to Invizx took some convincing.....

I think the technology of lithium is great, just waiting on the price to go down.

Which ain't all that bad if you take into consideration the 5 year warrant. Most batteries I've purchased really only last 2 years. So at 80 bucks a piece for 3, I shell out 240. In 2 years that becomes 480. If you look at the 'claimed' lifespan of 10 years, it becomes even more attractive.

I'm not in the market for them, but just food for thought.

The 10 yr lifespan is what gets my attention. When I run my boat 3-4 days a week that wears on a regular battery. But I did think they were just one battery. Maybe an option on ordering a new boat, just need research it some more

Get the batteries and keep them when you sell the boat.

They could build you one battery if desired and they can repair it without replacing it if something breaks.

Still pretty stiff compared to an optima but if they perform like they claim and last ten years I could probably justify it.

$13k worth of batteries left out in the open. I wouldn't be able to sleep well.
