How long will shad last in a 5 gal bucket w/water? My livewell is a bit too small to keep them and the cats inside.

I know how you can keep them alive, but its kind of a pain in the [censored] to do. once you get it done they'll stay alive for a few hrs. What do you want them alive for?

Buy you a 10 gallon bait tank from academy and they will stay alive all day in the cooler months. Those tanks aren't worth a darn in the warm and hot months. I have one and like to use it in the fall and spring. Use shad keep and it works.
