Just another reason I live in Longview and fish Lake o the Pines.

Last I heard people try to come from their side to our side. Maybe he didn't swim so good. Just saying.

On second thought, the violence at Falcon is out of control, dont go there without a bullet proof vest and an M-60 mounted to your leaning post. (that would look cool)

Better yet, stay home.

With the law enforcement presence on Falcon, I feel safer than in Dallas. A body in the Salado could very well be a netter. Like anywhere, keep your eyes open.

No kidding, have you seen the way those guys fly through the trees in their boats with a guy standing on the bow.

You are in a a different country when you are on the mexico side, we have all seen what is going on there as well, Its good when a fellow fisherman post because they are looking out. I will say this though, The wind may play a lot more of a role if the front stay on course vs fishing on the side of a 3rd world country this weekend. Fishing the damn or getting to the damn, Salinas or anywhere may be something a bit more dangerous.

With that north wind a howling like it's predicted, there will be hords of bodies stacked up on the shoreline of the dam this weekend. God rest that person's soul.......thanks for the info.

I hope the media gets ahold of this and blows it way outta proportion. I remember the good old days when people were getting shot down there and we had the lake to ourselves. Sigh.

The week I was there.....a guy staying a few doors down also found a body floating. They called 911 and went on their way.

I for one appreciate the post and warning. I am fully capable of making a sound decision once I have all the information. The news doesn't report half of it.

There is increased risk of danger while fishing Falcon or going to Mexico on a fishing trip. Doesn't mean you shouldn't or can't go. Or doesn't mean you are going to get murdered 100% of the time. If you don't acknowledge the increased risk then you are an idiot.
