 And we could NOT get them to hit anything we threw at them?

Looking in to the water we could see Large fish, Not real sure if they were Bass, Carp or?.

You could see large fish but you don't know what kind they were?

hard bottom no structure no shad in pic 58 ft cats or carps be good guess.

How u get ur sonar to be so clear? My 1197si side and di works great but I can never get the regular sonar to be very clear.

How u get ur sonar to be so clear? My 1197si side and di works great but I can never get the regular sonar to be very clear. turn the max mode off and put it in clear mode.. it helps a lot in deeper water on the h-birds.

drop a spoon, catch a sandie... in LAH - Saw sihouettes of Large Fish twice. The guy with me said he saw Bass, I was not positive of what i saw? Dang sure a lot of them anyway. We threw spoons and cranks for 30 minutes or more. We felt a few bumps, I believe we were hitting them,Not them hitting us?

Maybe its the 7000 sharelunker largmouth. there genetics have made them smarter than any other bass.they suspend in 50' of water to eat shad all day and never get caught..

Could be a school of Gar. They go somewhere when they aren't around the shoreline.
