My son just bought a new kayak & is storing it in our backyard. Would you say that it is in danger of warping, denting, etc if stored as in the picture ?

That is about all that her can do except keep her indoors out of the weather. Can he rig up a way to hang her upside down in is garage? He might want to get a heavier, more UV resistant tarp and keep the seat inside.

Thanks mike...I wish we could store his kayak in our garage, but I have already got a boat taking up all the room. His kayak is kept in the shade so that this Texas sun doesn't beat on it all day, plus the tarp is suppose to reflect the sun. I was most concerned that the weight of the kayak would eventually cause the kayak to warp. We keep the seat in a shed out of the weather.

Maybe rotate between top and bottom to prevent warping? Mine just sits on its side angled down against the fence haha

Looks pretty good to me. Just make sure the weight is evenly distributed and you may want to put something between the boat and the foam to keep the foam from sticking to the boat in the heat of the summer.

Have FUN!
