Seems like if you look around you'll see cranks of all sorts and sizes hanging off the lip of big bass down there. I'd listen to guys like Jay for day in and day out producers. Plastics, I'd get watermelon red, watermelon magic, "falcon craw" colored baits. good luck down there.

Thanks Guys, we have some purchasing to do. Any need to take squarebill cranks? And as for plastics any particular type other than worms? Thanks again for the wealth of info.

I'd take square bills. Plastics i'd take super flukes and mag flukes. Baby brush hogs and brush hogs. big sized senkos, dingers, or hags tornadoes. you might think about gettin some "ball & chains" or biffle heads to drag plastics around on. I had good luck on Gene larew "hoo daddys", but any creature type bait you have confidence in. LFT hyper freaks is what i used as jig trailers, along with xcite and paca craws.
