I hit a stump running about 30 mph today and bent my prop shaft, so be careful. It is about 50 yards past the right hand side big red buoy heading into Williams.

Well if you know where it is then it isn't hidden is it?
Pound some rebar in it so we all can see it better.
Please know I am just kidding!

That is a monster of a stump, you must have gotten a little to your starboard side if headed in to Williams.

There's hidden stumps all over Fork. Someone should have a mobile lower unit repair/replacement shop that they bring out for the big tournaments. You could probably make a pretty penny.

I am confused. Is it in the boatlane? I have made that run in and out of Williams a thousand times and I am drawing a blank.

You need to stay between the two red/orange buoys going into Williams.
Two things in life you can never have to much of. Money or Fun!

Haven't been in Williams in awhile, but here are the stumps I have GPS coordinates on. The green line is Lance Vick's Boatlanes path. Stumps are 40-50ft distance. It might be one of these three. Got some stump GPS coordinates when Fork was 7+ feet low back when. If someone GPS's it, I would like to add it to my list.

There is one in Little Caney in the boat lane (red markers on Lance Vicks boatlanes) right at one of the red markers. Once you get to the patch of land that sticks out past Northwest Bay you need to slow to an idle because the stump is close and only a couple inches out of the water.

I know the ones little gazoo is talking about - one is within a boat-length of a buoy. Atta - the main lanes are clear, for the most part. Do a search of little gazoo's posts and you'll find a list of hazard waypoints. Some of those waypoints I have trails right through the middle of

I've heard several boats impact that stump. There's one like that on chicken ridge too - very close to the waypoint.
