Soak the hemp in water for 24-48 hrs. Make sure that there is plenty of water over the hemp as some of it will be absorbed by the seeds. Boil the hemp till the seeds split and a little white sprout appears, add a little salt to the water it helps do something I forget. After cooking you can add any other flavorings, I added brown sugar when I made black tiger nuts once. Everyone I gave some to seemed to catch except me, lol. Make sure to keep the hemp in the water it was boiled in as this will contain all that lovely hemp oil. Freezing is the best way to store your cooked hemp if you are not going to use it straight away.

I'd do small batches until you perfect your technique.

I just boil a small amount for 20 minutes , and use it and its water in my methode.
I tend to over think fishing. Please help me. When I am over complicating something please kick me in the face. Hard.

BlkDynamite does it he same way I do. I've had it take over an hour of boiling to get the seeds to split. The longer the initial soak the fast boil time

Method to not stink up the house:
Soak in water for 24 hours. (10 lbs will fit in a 2.5 gallon bucket) You wanna cover the seeds with water that is a couple inches over the seeds as they will absorb a lot of the water. You can add whatever you want to the water: salt, baking soda(helps the seeds split), flavors, spices or none at all.
After 24 hours, drain all the water out into a pot on the stove and leave the seeds in the bucket.
Get the water to boiling(you can add hemp seed oil at this point and the seeds will soak it up when they cool) and then pour he boiling water back into the bucket with the seeds and put a tight lid on the bucket.
Let it sit for a day and you can repeat the draining/boiling/pouring process multiple times, each time making the liquid they soak up more potent(along with the seeds) and making the seeds a little softer every time.
Freeze in ziplock bags WITH HEMPSEED WATER for quick session packs that you can thaw overnight before.
