Late report ...but here goes. I fished Lake Texoma on Wednesday and the lake looked pretty low ...I think 3-4'. Water temp is around 67-68* and fish are thick on brush in 8-12'. Pretty easy to get a limit of 11-12"ers but a little harder to find those 14-15" fish.





Made a quick trip down the coast for flounder over the weekend. On the 1st day, I caught 15 with 3 are keepers(15-17"). Seem like most were 13 8/10th ...just a tad short. Got skunked on the 2nd day





They sure have some pretty houses down there ...



Back to Texoma on Monday ...got 2 nice stripers from one brush pile.





Attempted to sink a dry cedar tree ...with not so great of a result.



Got a big rock from the bank, tied it on, and it sunk like a rock lol. Pan fried crappie for lunch ...crunchy.

We tried sinking some dead trees awhile back and gave up. Takes too much weight. They do work good once they are down.
