Finally got to fish WR afternoon. Caught 4 black bass that were all about this size (1.5-2lbs) on Trig green worms flipping in the reeds.  Saw some fish crashing on shad, threw out my squarebill and caught this nice sandbass. Barely under 2lb. Biggest one of those I've ever caught out of there.  Also caught this...

I have landed a drum on a crank bait. No idea what the fish was until the bank fisherman started yelling at me to not throw it back. I thre it back and they were pissed. "Drum best eatin!!"
Has anyone fished below the spillway in that holding area?
