Will be spending next weekend at Lake Texoma (western end), and looking for some place to take a young child fishing. Some place with enough action, even if it is perch, to keep her busy. Any suggestions?

I didn't do too good at Fobb Bottom this weekend, but I think it was the weather patterns. If you hit Fobb, take a left at that crossroads and follow it all the way down to where you can pull off and fish the sandy beach in front of Willis Bridge. That cove has some good action on the north side of the big tire.
Otherwise, Juniper Point West has some decent fishing around the boat ramp or down around the bridge. Good luck!

Thanks for the advice. Where is Fobb Bottom? I am new to fishing this lake.

just find a marina and go drown some worms by the boat houses. if you see a cleaning dock fish it... fish stay near them to feed on the guts. take a rod or two for fishing for cats, and one with a perch hook on it to entertain inbetween

To reach Fobb Bottom, go north over the 377 bridge into Oklahoma. About a mile or two you'll see a gas station on the left (Dave's I think). Take that road all the way down. Lots of dirt roads in there that will take you to different areas. Look at the area on Google Earth and you will be able to plot a course of action. Fobb Bottom is that entire stretch of shoreline just west of the bridge.
