DYOLLP Extreme Angler D Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 2,041 Phoenix	I use braid for almost everything except smaller poppers. For poppers I'll use 10 copoly like Maxima. With frogs, spooks, and buzzbaits, I'll use 65 braid. Typically, I use a 7' or 7'2" medium heavy or heavy rod. For poppers, I use a lighter rod-6'6" Medium. I will even use a spinning rod for poppers from time to time.

Just take your time playing the fish in if it is big and you have smaller hooks. My go to braid is Sufix Performance Braid in 30lb. -Tye Let's Fish!
