Hope they caught some fish off the dock... Came by on a green kite and it looked like a good crowd. 20-30 wind kept my boat on the trailer.

silly me thought the wind was 50 or 60 ....hahahaha we went .....man oh man .....that was some kind of treacherous water for boaters , we had boats breaking ropes at the docks right and left , one couples broke both ropes and went for a ride all alone ,,,, they called the boat part off ....thanks to who ever made that call.....it was brutal the kids caught a few catfish on the dock , we stayed and helped a little while after we tied up with a much larger rope from a down wind side of the dock

It was good meeting all you guys. Thanks Not fihsn and MJ Hartman for helping me get my boat under control. That could have been real bad without y'alls help. Hope to see you guys soon under less windy conditions.

I turned around after I called you(Mix) ,and you Boat was loose  I thought it was going for the rocks.I had two ropes break too, riped my graph off the front of the Boat,and pulled some of my rub rail off the side of my Boat. Everything went back together ,but the graph bracket (Plastic mount).Hope no one had any serious damage to their Boat.I am glad the boat part was called off (just not safe being that windy) .I do not think anyone would have had fun but me.My wife was ready to go as soon as we hit open water. I just hope the kids had a great time,cuz that is what this was all about.

There was some pretty serious wind just out from the BP dock coming off the power plant jetty upwind. Some of the kite jumps were going 30+ feet with hang time. Wrangling boats in those conditions... glad noone got hurt.

i seen them kite guys fly like gulls that day .....
and holding on to boats reminded me of wild horses ......
there was some pretty serious bucking goin on that day
