Good luck to my cousin Mike Cannon and his partner Russ Carter. There leading right now with 20.33lbs. Any idea why they had to start today with a 2 lb penalty? They weighed in 15# today and had to take a 2# penalty before they even weighed. Just curious.

Last weekend there was a team that got a penalty accessed on Friday night before the tourney. They came off the water late on the final practice day. Instead of a dq, they were penalized and I'm assuming it was a weight penalty.
Maybe something along the same lines happened in this case?

Must be nice to be able to catch 6 keepers....at any rate they had a good sack. We had nothing but problems. It was a very frustrating weekend for us. Caught lots of dinks and some sun. Fun times never the less and Gordon and crew never disappoint. Congrats to those that cashed a check. Good meeting some of y'all as well.
