I'm heading out to good ol' Dunlap in the morning. Any one have any recent info they might want to share? I don't need coordinates, just maybe a pattern If you feel like throwing this dog a bone. PM or reply to the post, any help is greatly appreciated!

Deeper water. Same deal jig, med divers, or always numbers wacky rig with weighted hook. Went Monday caught a lot but not much size.

Dunlap has been hit and miss all year long. I did well there last week! Fish were in deeper water 10 to 15 feet. Crank baits were the bait of choice.

I had the best day that I've had on Dunlap in a while, in terms of quality and quantity. We caught lots of dinks , six 2-3 pounders, a 4 and a 6.
Other than one on a jig, these were all caught on an Xcalibur XCS 100 squarebill in the Tennessee Special color. I threw everything In my box at them including the same bait in different colors, but once I tied this one on I couldn't keep em off my hook. These fish were all in 5-10 ft of water crashing through fallen timber and old wooden docks. I layed into a real bruiser at one point that took off like a freight train. Never could turn him. Luckily, he jumped 3 times trying to shake that crank before it finally came out of his mouth so I got to see him AND got my bait back! I'm gonna guess another 6'er.
Like I said, its been a LONG time since I've had a day like this on Dunlap. It was nice to see that there's still fish here! On a side note, did anyone here fish the Sunday tourney? I saw a good number of boats out there. What was the winning weight? Big bass?

Religion is a guy in church thinking about fishing. Relationship is a guy fishing thinking about God!
