Caught some fish this afternoon but nothing worth talking about so decide to call it a day. But as I'm approaching my slip at the marina I decide to make one cast to the corner pole (there is some brush around it). Surprise! So the moral of the story is to always make that last cast...

Cheers to the last cast! Two evenings ago, I was blessed with a bite on my first cast. She swim straight towards me and buried herself in the grass. As I caught up with her, all I retrieved was my lure and five pounds of matted mess. Not another bite for the rest of the evening...til the last cast. She hit it and again and this time I was wise to her temperament. She kinda reminded me of the wife as I return from a night drinking. She hits hard too! Cheers to the last cast!

Nice fish

Great fish....... I was fishing a small tournament on Palestine a few weeks ago. 3 fish stringer. I needed one more to fill my bag. Weigh in was at 9pm, it was 8:40, and I had a 15 minute boat ride back. I trolled over to a dock, told my partner to make one more cast, and wham! Pulled up a 5 lb 10 oz toad that won the tournament for us! Just one more cast!

the best last cast or one more cast I had was at a bass champs event at choke, it was nice to put that 10 pounder in the well and take out that 1.7, the top 10 finish was nice as well.

I think if you call last cast you will be cursed if you make another one; especially if it catches a fish. Bad MoJo to break the last cast code.
