If you make a trip to the coast for 2-3 days & catch your limit each day, how do you keep fish without running into a problem with Game Warden??
Just want to stay legal....

I think that what ever your total bag limit is all your allowed to have in your campsite or possion, I think its double of what ever to daily bag limit is. Go to texas parks and wild life and look it up its not hard to find the details.

You are allowed to have two days limits in your possession.

I hate that rule going to the coast for a week and really can only bring back 2 days limits, same rule happens bird hunting, but long trips aren't worth 2 day, I want to catch fish every day, gonna try to target different fish every day, to break it up.

You know you can ship your catch home. Don't know how expensive it would be, but there are shippers that can do that.
If you are there 4 days, take 2 days catch and ship it to a friend or relative near by, of course warn them first.

Fish and keep your legal limit for the day. Go clean your fish and keep fish filets on ice or freeze in bags at your hotel etc. Do the same the next day. No Game warden is going to check you at your motel room etc. He is too busy checking and catching serious violators that is bringing in 3 to 4 limits of fish a day and/or catching people cooking meth on shrimp boats offshore ( along with Homeland Security)!

Hate to tell you that Game wardens do check motel rooms if they do suspect you of poaching. It's not hard to find out how many days you've been staying at that motel. They've caught people way exceeding their flounder limits. They used that same excuse, after they talked to the front desk. They totaled daily limit with the amount of days stayed and those fisherman were jailed and fined for their overages.

I spoke with a game warden yesterday about this matter. He told me that they may decide to check your room if your acting a fool or disrespectful. He told most of them will not carry on to that extent unless you piss them off...lol I lol'd at him.
