Headed out to Rollover about 330 today from work. Wife is having a party and kicked me out. Figured I would get a line in for a few hours. I have heard flounder and bulls have been pretty good lately. Question is do I do better fishing bay or surf side of the bridge? Only been out there twice with my little girl so we fished bay side and didnt see much action.

Thanks in advance.

I've got family setup on the bayside as I write. They've been there since Tuesday.

So far, no trout, 2 slot reds and 1 flounder. Pretty slow.

They seem to think the bite is better late. Around midnight.

I've had better luck on surf side with outgoing tide and bay side with incoming tide...

Best of luck! Post a report...

Well here is the report

Got skunked. Not even a bite. Hit the water by 6 with some semi-alive finger mullet. Tossed some new penny gulp, along with a few other plastics on jigs and nothing. Guy next to me got 1 slot red and had been out there all afternoon. About 8 people were hitting small specs in the light. All looked about 14 - 16. Kids on the other side of me were getting a ton of angel fish and some small whiting on shrimp (i believe dead).

Oh well was better than being at the house while the wife hosted a jewelry party.

Next stop on the list will be in the yak off 8 mile. Will be first time out in a yak so hopefully i have better luck with it than i do at rollover.
